About the Mammut 8.0mm Alpine Classic Rope
The Alpine Classic Mammut climbing rope is a quality rope which comes in an 8mm diameter making it super lightweight at 42g per meter. You will be able to tell the difference when you are carrying it to and from the crag compared to other ropes.
Nice and supple, you can rest assured the Alpine Classic will not fatten out or stiffen up after the first couple of uses. The Alpine Classic is double-certified as a half and twin rope making it perfect for building pitches where a single just isn’t enough.
